I am one of the trustees for a pair of radio repeaters. The keys are marked by color and since it seems like we only have issues after dark it's nice to be able know what key I have in my hand at a glance.
Glad to have found a company that is selling fresh tritium vials for stuff like this again. It was a pain 10 years ago to find anything of quality.
Great unique gift for EDC. A friend recently moved into a new apartment and locked himself out. To troll him I got a titanium fob to add to his keys so he never forgets. The product is well made. I decided to purchase one each for my family members. Green is the brightest, blue next then red. I also purchased a pink one which is not as bright as the others but still pretty(it’s physics so can’t complain).
Looks great on my EDC pouch, marking the home of my flashlight. The intention is to make it easier to find the flashlight during the night while camping. The red color is great - the only disappointment is that the glow is rather faint, and it can only been seen in pitch darkness. Was hoping for something just a bit brighter.
This is my fourth Glow Rhino product. Can't beat the quality and price for tritium that you dont have to wait months for from some low quality overseas distributor. I will always choose Glow Rhino!
The blue is a really nice looking color, but not very bright. Wish I had gone with the green instead. Seems like a huge difference in the brightness level between the two.
Its been preety cool, I think they would be a lil nicer if they were a lil bigger. It will definitely help you catch your eyes if you misplace them in the dark. But if it was bigger, but the price didn't really go up. It would be nice, other then that I love it. It would probably be cool if you had other ones with diffrent elements in them. Like bigger test tunes with others in them.
These little things are amazing - it's incredible to see something produce light without any electricity or external source. I got both titanium and regular one - both in green colour. They both are bright enough that you can clearly see that they glow even in dim environments (you don't need complete darkness to see the glow).
I use it in my pocket EDC attached to my flashlight. I am rehabbing a duplex in another city and it is VERY dark in the room that I sleep in while I'm there. I lay my EDC items on the floor next to me and this fob enables me to find my flashlight in the dark.
I love it. ...and it doesn't hurt that it's radioactive. That's just a great conversation starter.
Purchased as a stocking stuffer for the wife, who is into nuke stuff. She loved it and is already planning to buy more colors, which is a great feature. The build quality is top notch. I'm more impressed than I expected to be.
So I bought the green and purple fobs for no particular reason. Other than I thought they were cool. And they are nice. The construction actually pretth solid .I am a but disappointed though because they don't glow that bright. And the picture in the dark does not justify how dim they really are. The picture makes them look brighter. I wasn't expecting them to be so bright that you could see them from a mile away, but I wasn't expecting them to be this dim. But I think they look cool. So i'm going to keep them. I'm only giving 3 stars because like I said they're not that bright. But the construction is solid.
I added it to the included lanyard on my Benchmade Mini Adira. I purchased the knife partly because of its high-visibility coloration and materials (especially near water, which it was designed for), but always worried about dropping it at night. That is no longer a worry as the orange glow from the fob is easily bright enough to see in low to zero light, and they’re waterproof! The orange glow matches the color scheme perfectly, and it just looks awesome! Definitely recommend!
My brother and I have been psyched to get tritium keychains for a while, so I got the standard green. One for him for his birthday - and one for myself! Really went over well as a special heartfelt gift for my bro - he was was absolutely delighted. The box it comes in is fantastic! Smaller than I thought, but the glow of the tritium is beautiful and brighter than I thought! Glows pretty bright even under low light. Absolutely worth it! I really love having this special element on my nightstand - it's a very comforting little nightlight.
Kinda silly, but I also wrap the keyring loop to my custom Otto Octavius plushie's cyber-claw (as a funny reference to this mad scientist's obsession with the element in the Spiderman 2 movie that my brother and I love).
I will definitely be back for more colors - I just bought the orange "Huntsman". (Please restock the "Slasher" and golden "Holiday" fobs!)
This is a very unique tritium color, for sure. It's almost like a magenta color when it glows in low light. The pic I used, it is not completely dark in the room, since the sun is already coming up & I have a few Sphere lights on, so I can at least see. That proves these tritium lamps glow even when there is some surrounding light.
For a few years I’ve been buying these awesome glow fobs and my wife said it was time to buy her one. She attached it to her purse and loves it. They are so cool and it’s funny to see the reaction in people faces when they ask me how does it glow without exposure to light first and I say it’s radio active gas. The shock is only short lived when I tell them it’s totally safe even if it broke.
Needed something to reduce the chances of misplacing my $420 Microtech knife. The blue Glow Rhino Tritium fob handles the job.

I've collected quite a few of these over the last year or so. The monochrome pink, monochrome green, the titanium/blue and steel/blue aren't even in the pic. I wish they had a monochrome orange to complete my set. It feels incomplete to me.😒
Tritium has been used in military applications for decades. Low light visibility is sometimes crucial for survival. Why not offer this same technology in what we carry every day?
