GR Customs to Launch in 2020

Glow Rhino has received a number of customer requests about tritium upgrades to their existing EDC gear.

Aftermarket tritium solutions to our customers' favorite knives. We thought this was a great idea!

However, it would be impossible to provide this as a service for one-offs. We started thinking, we could do limited drops based on overlapping customer feedback.

Glow Rhino plans to launch "GR Customs" in 2020.

Please send us any requests and we will do our best to bring your suggestions to life!

More Spyderco PM2 drops please!!!!!!!! I just bought a PM2 in Maxamet and love the looks of these! It’s a very popular knife, obviously.

    Hi GlowRhino Team,
I’m a repeat customer; appreciate the quality + functionality of your products!
A very handy item I hope you’d be willing to make available is a tritium housing that can be attached to a flat surface via 3m adhesive, small screws/bolts or pop rivets. Various sizes/materials/colors would broaden uses and marketability; perhaps start with one that accepts a 3 × 22.5 tritium vial (why have these become so hard to find lately?).
Perhaps something along the lines of the TAD Gear Pharos Marker (but this is designed to attach to Molle gear + has been discontinued). I’ve done numerous searches on the web without luck; I’ve also discussed with Daniel @ www. mixglow.com (keychain fobs/tritium vials supplier) without luck. Only option to-date was to have each made in individual quantities by CAC/CAM, which is prohibitively expensive.
This could be attached near the handle of attaché cases, suitcases, messenger bags, clothing, and other applications where a regular tritium housing is needed in a low-profile placement and having one flopping around attached to gear not be acceptable. This would also minimize chances the housing/tritium tube would be damaged, lost/stolen. And would enhance the appearance of the item it’s attached to, looking “OEM.”
Thanks for your willingness to accept customer input! Have a successful, peaceful Holiday season!

I have used a variety of flashlights, can you perhaps insert tritium into a tail cap so it can be seen from all sides? It’s amazing how difficult it can be to find a flashlight if you drop it before turning it on…

Working on the EDC sounds awesome! How about a tritium insert that plugs in the lanyard hole on my Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight? Or something that will twist in to the corkscrew on Victorinox Knives. These should be pretty standard sizes!

Benchmade mini. Make titanium scales with a tritium insert in the lanyard attachment point.
